GameFabrique is Garbage#

Context#

GameFabrique bundles adware into their installers that automatically open magnet links in your torrent client. These torrents usually come from shady sources like IGG-Games, which is basically playing Russian roulette with your computer's security.

Testing#

I ran their installers through a sandbox a few times to see what they're actually doing:

Results#

Every single installer tried to sneak AVG Secure Browser and McAfee Web Advisor onto the test machine. ANY.RUN can be a bit dramatic and flags minor things as "malicious activity", but they're absolutely bundling adware and linking to torrents from sources you shouldn't trust.
